Get Your System Cleaned & Running Properly

Is cleaning your solar system really worth it? We think so. Our ag clients know that blowing dirt from tilling and harvesting can decrease panel productivity up to 20% or more. Notice a slight decrease in performance when monitoring your system? It's likely related to dirty panels.

How to Properly Clean Your Panels
If you’re in a dusty ag environment, please make sure and take standard preventative maintenance steps. We recommend washing panels three to four times a year under normal conditions and even more frequently during dusty drought conditions, particularly before the summer’s high utility peak rates. Only use water — no soap, no chemicals — and a brush and squeegee. Remember to squeegee in order to prevent hard-water calcium deposit buildup per the panel vendor's recommended procedures.
